The town of Warren sits within the northern-most border of Litchfield County. The country landscape offers everything from rolling farmlands and high hills to untouched woodlands.  Nature abounds in this quiet little town with Above All State Park atop Avoe All Mountain, Wyantenock State Forest, Warren Woods, site of the Warren Fall Festival, and the sparkling Shepaug River flowing along the eastern boundary from the Upper Shepaug Reservoir.  Picturesque Lake Waramaug is located on Warren's southern border and offers a Town Beach for residents to enjoy.


Warren is part of the Region 6 School District.  Warren Elementary is located in the Town of Warren.  Wamogo is the Regional High School, located in Litchfield and is attended by students from Warren, Morris and Goshen, hence the name, Wa Mo Go.
